1020 Monarch

The 1020 Monarch defies the imagination.

Hatching from the owners’ dreams, and expanding the technical skills of the Wakerley team, the Monarch has become the king of New Zealand roads.

Featuring a double slideout on opposing sides, the Monarch is believed to be the first of its kind in the southern hemisphere. The owners wanted to travel in style, while having the space to enjoy all the comforts and features including a 25inch TV, Bose stereo, DVD, Granite benchtops plus a washer dryer incorporated in the garage housing a DR 400 trail bike. With so much room and so many features, including a Fisher and Paykel Dishdrawer and large slideout barbeque, entertaining is a breeze.

While the island-style queen size bed with innerspring mattress keeps you comfortable, hiding inside the settee is another double bed for those guests that just can’t bear to leave. Interior decor is by Donald Grant Sutherland of Changing Rooms fame. "Just love those granite vanities and full-size handbasins."
Driven by a six-cylinder 225HP Isuzu FRR 500, the Monarch not only tours very comfortably, it also doubles as the tow wagon capable of getting race cars to any track in the country.

A motorhome of this size has to have great systems and this one is no exception with a 3.6KVA Onan generator, 2000 watt inverter, 350 litre fresh water and waste tanks, exterior shower plus all the systems designed to keep you on the road all year round.
